Elliot Cohen is the Founder and CEO of Sunhaven Properties, launched in 2025 with a mission to modernize and scale HOA management through strategic partnerships with the nation's top independent operators. Sunhaven is building a next-generation platform to support the long-term success of community associations by investing in people, technology, and service excellence.

Elliot brings a proven track record of leadership across complex, service-driven businesses. As the former CEO of Sears Home Services—the nation's largest appliance repair provider—he oversaw 3,500 employees, including 2,500 expert field technicians. In addition to leading a top-tier residential HVAC division, Elliot managed one of the country's largest home warranty businesses, providing a deep understanding of asset maintenance, service operations, and homeowner support—core to effective HOA management.

Previously, Elliot served as Chief Business and Corporate Development Officer at ADT Home Security, where he was recruited by Apollo Global Management. During his four-year tenure, he helped lead the company's growth and spearheaded a transformative $600 million partnership with Google to enhance ADT's smart home capabilities and market presence.

Earlier in his career, Elliot founded Citymaps, a venture-backed technology startup he grew from inception to acquisition by TripAdvisor. This entrepreneurial foundation fuels his passion for supporting founders, preserving legacy, and scaling with care.

Elliot lives in New York with his wife, Isabel, and their two young daughters. Across every role, what has mattered most are the operators empowered, the communities supported, and the enduring partnerships built along the way.
